Pure Athletex is the place to be! We go to the gym most mornings before work, and they have so many great machines and free weights to use. I’ve never had to wait for a machine here! They also have a top notch tennis program, basketball program, and turf for softball/baseball and more! The staff is also super kind and always helpful. Highly recommend!
Definitely a hidden gem for gyms in the PGH area. It's never crowded even during peak gym hours and offers a variety of old/new equipment. It has multiple areas so you don't have to wait on any equipment. Also, offers a sauna as well as a track and turf/basketball courts when it's not rented. There's also a tennis academy and offers a lot of kids activities so there's a little bit of everything for everyone. Staff and owner are friendly and responsive.
Pure Athletex is clean, updated and friendly. Dave is so easy to work with whether you're renting turf for a birthday party or there for lacrosse practice. We will be back!
My twins had their 10th birthday party here this month! They played flag football and basketball and absolutely loved it! The whole car ride home they kept sharing that it was "the best birthday party ever!
The owner David and his wife were wonderful to work with. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great night. We highly recommend for an awesome sports birthday experience!
